AYURVEDA & YOGA TREATMENT

The Pappukutty Beach Resort provides a comprehensive approach to physical, spiritual and mental well-being, with a special emphasis on yoga and ayurveda. Secluded open-air treatment areas make the lush tropical setting an integral part of the relaxation and treatment process.

Yoga:

Yoga at the Resort is a magical experience. Our resident yogi ( Master Saju) guides beginners and experienced followers through inspiring morning meditation and evening enlightenment sessions from a pavilion that “floats” on the sea. Private sessions are available, and the yogi welcomes all guests for discussions on this ancient spiritual practice.

Master Saju's teaching style which combines the power and flow of hatha with an added depth to focus in on postures and movement with awareness and precision. Yogi encourages students to open their hearts to find an edge to give them the motivation to progress.

Ayurvedic Treatments and Massages:

Situated within the Resort complex, the Ayurvedic Retreat, is designed to stimulate its guests into thinking about, experimenting with and understanding the fundamental philosophical approach to ayurveda. The Ayurvedic Retreat has individual treatment pavilions designed to take guests on a journey through the physical, nutritional and emotional benefits of the ayurvedic system.

Besides introducing the myriad possibilities ayurveda offers, guests will also learn to integrate some of the processes into their daily lives. The Resort's ayurvedic Doctor is available to advise on healthier lifestyle options and to design dosha-specific meal plans in cooperation with the Resort’s ayurvedic chef, for guests who wish to experience this ancient science throughout the duration of their stay.

Another specialty is the panchakarma procedure, a series of five therapies that comprises ayurveda’s primary purification and detoxification treatment. Dr. Aju G. George BAMS specialises in rejuvenative Ayurvedic Therapy, Kayakalpa Therapy and special treatments and has successfully practiced these methods for over a decade as a clinical practitioner. His comprehensive approach with Ayurveda is gaining a lot of attention in the Ayurvedic health care sector in Kerala.
